MI London 2026: full squad, new signings, and their Hundred fixtures
By Duane Martin · Cricket Daily
The most successful men's team in The Hundred has a new name and new owners, but the same target: winning. The side formerly known as Oval Invincibles are now MI London, part of the Mumbai Indians network, and they arrive in 2026 chasing a fourth straight men's title.
Sam Curran returns as captain of the group that completed a three-peat in 2025, joined by Will Jacks, Rashid Khan and new signing Nicholas Pooran. Kieron Pollard, a Mumbai Indians great, takes over as head coach. On paper, they look every bit the team to beat again.
Here is the full squad, the new arrivals, and every fixture MI London play this summer.
Quick questions before the season
When do MI London start their Hundred 2026 title defence?
The tournament runs from July 21 to August 16, 2026, with the eliminator at the Kia Oval on August 14 and the final at Lord's on August 16. MI London open the entire competition, hosting Sunrisers Leeds at the Kia Oval on the opening night of Tuesday, July 21, as they begin their bid for a fourth consecutive men's title.
Who are MI London's new signings for 2026?
The champions kept their winning core of Sam Curran, who captains, along with Will Jacks and Rashid Khan, and added West Indian power-hitter Nicholas Pooran as a direct signing. The auction brought in Jason Roy, James Vince, Sherfane Rutherford, Ollie Pope and Trent Boult. Kieron Pollard is the new head coach.
The new signings, explained
MI London represents one of the headline changes of the 2026 season. As part of The Hundred's investment drive, Reliance Industries, the Ambani-owned company behind Mumbai Indians, bought a 49 percent stake while Surrey retained 51 percent, and Oval Invincibles were rebranded MI London. The team now sits inside the wider MI family that includes Mumbai Indians, MI New York, MI Cape Town and MI Emirates.
The recruitment reflected a champion side reloading rather than rebuilding. Sam Curran was retained and continues as captain after leading the team to the 2025 title, with fellow match-winners Will Jacks and Rashid Khan also kept on. The marquee new arrival is Nicholas Pooran, one of the most destructive white-ball batters in the world, added as a direct signing.
At the auction, MI London blended experience and firepower. Jason Roy, a familiar face at the Kia Oval, returned alongside James Vince, while Sherfane Rutherford added another big-hitting all-round option. Ollie Pope strengthens the batting, and the bowling gained serious quality with New Zealand's Trent Boult, plus Richard Gleeson, Olly Stone and Tom Curran, who reunites with brother Sam.
Kieron Pollard, a legend of the Mumbai Indians setup, takes charge as head coach. As Oval Invincibles, this franchise won the men's title in 2023, 2024 and 2025, making them the most successful men's side in the competition's short history. The pressure now is to keep that dynasty going under a new banner.

Where to watch and what's at stake
In the UK, Sky Sports is the home of The Hundred with every match live. The BBC carries all games live on BBC Sounds, shows 16 matches live on BBC TV, and posts highlights on BBC iPlayer and its sport site.
The men's and women's sides that finish top of their group tables go straight to the final at Lord's on August 16. The teams placed second and third meet in the eliminator at the Kia Oval on August 14 to decide who joins them.
Three titles in a row and a squad this strong make MI London the obvious favourites, but a new coach, a new name and eight sides gunning for the champions mean nothing is guaranteed. Their bid for a fourth crown starts under the lights at the Kia Oval on July 21.
